Extending the NTU EcoCampus Success to the Region
NanRise is set up to extend the success, the knowledge, the networks and the unique experience of the EcoCampus Initiative of the Nanyang Technological University (NTU), to the technological innovation businesses in Asia.
The EcoCampus Initiative started in 2014, and has since transformed NTU through a novel campus‐wide sustainability framework and cutting edge technology commercialization testbeds.
The EcoCampus includes research, living lab and industry collaboration.
NTU has been supported by the Economic Development Board (EDB) and JTC Corporation of Singapore in the EcoCampus to transform into one of the most environmentally friendly campuses in the world.

Strategic Partner to the EcoLabs
NanRise is the Strategic Advisory Partner of the newly launched EcoLabs, the one-stop centre to boost innovation by start-ups and SMEs in the energy sector
NTU Singapore, Enterprise Singapore, and the Sustainable Energy Association of Singapore (SEAS) have joined forces to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and start-ups innovate, grow and thrive in the competitive energy sector. Serving as a one-stop hub, the new EcoLabs Centre of Innovation for Energy will enable these companies to further develop their clean energy-related innovations and business ideas, and commercialize them into technologies that will benefit industry and society.
The role of NanRise in the EcoLabs is to provide consulting and capacity building services, and also to focus on developing regional business and technological collaborations for the companies in the programme, through advisory services, capacity building, international business networking, and investment.
