Prof Alexander J.B. Zehnder
Professor & Co-Founder
Professor Zehnder, a founder of NanRise, a former member of NTU Board of Trustees, former president of the ETH Board, and professor emeritus of ETH Zurich, Switzerland. He directed NTU Sustainable Earth Office which coordinates NTU’s sustainability activities and is one of the “founding fathers” of the “2000 Watt Society”. Some of his work led to the establishment of the original Dow Jones Sustainability Index and he has been involved in building the Swiss innovation environment and reshaping NTU’s innovation system.

Dr. Yip has over 30 years of experience in sustainability consulting and urban planning in Asia and North America. Dr. Yip is an internationally recognized leading urban planning professional, research and academic leader in sustainable cities, land economics, climate change and green buildings. Dr. Yip is 5 times awardee of the International Society of City and Regional Planners (ISOCARP) Award of Excellence, and 6 times awardee of the Hong Kong Green Building Awards (Research and Planning).
Mr. Liew Han Young

Mr. Liew have over 25 years of experience in the civil engineering, risk and insurance, clean energy infrastructure and in the private equity industry as a corporate and business development professional. His strength is in the origination and evaluation of such investment opportunities, and also in the value creation of the portfolio. Mr. Liew is an alumnus of Nanyang Technological University Singapore. He founded the NTU Alumni Association Hong Kong in 2009. After stepping down as the President in 2019, he continues to serve the alumni community and is active alumnus in the NTU Alumni Council.

Based on her research and practical experiences, Dr. Bai has participated in over 20 projects, compiled a series of technological guidelines on urban energy systems design and management, 3 books and published over 30 papers in international or national journals and conferences.
