Co-Founder Alexander Zehnder spoke at the EU INDUSTRY WEEK 2021 from March 22 to 23, 2021, in Binh Duong New City, Vietnam. This was a hands-on practitioner workshops on green technologies with most presentations online. This event aimed to provide a platform for dialogue between technology developers and users from Europe, Vietnam and other ASEAN Member States in order to stimulate cooperation and transfer of such green manufacturing technologies and development of local capacities and competencies to apply them successfully..
Alexander Zehnder spoke at the Roundtable “Navigating the Sustainable Manufacturing Journey” chaired by Dr. Michele Chew, Head of Science & Technology Division, ASEAN Secretariat Jakarta, Indonesia. The other members of the roundtable were Miguel Exposito Verdejo, Deputy Head of INTPA F5 Unit ‘Science, Technology, Innovation and Digitalization’, Chris Humphrey, Executive Director EU-ASEAN Business Council, Nicholas Audier, Chairman EuroCham Vietnam, Frederick Contreras, Managing Director BASF, and Ryan Jin, Lead (Smart Cities and Future Mobility), EcoLabs Centre of Innovation for Energy, NTU, Singapore. Ryan Jin also works for NanRise Pte Ltd.
The audience of close to one hundred participants, included high EU, ASEAN and Vietnamese officials. Alexander Zehnder talked about the focus of NanRise and its experiences to create sustainable solutions, as well as of how NanRise could support manufacturers in green technology innovations and circular economies and cities in planning for a sustainable future.
