Alexander Zehnder, partner at NanRise Pte Ltd, develops with the Northern China University of Water Resources and Electric Power (NCWU) in Zhengzhou, Henan, a water lecture course for all the 10,000 first year’s students entitled Water and Civilization. This course has an international teaching team and is heavily supported by AI in new and very innovative ways. The course will start as a pilot in 2026 and is planned to be available internationally starting in 2027. Prof Zehnder led working meetings with the faculty of the university (see video link below).
North China University of Water Resources and Electric Power (NCWU), located in Zhengzhou, Henan, is a public university established in 1951. It specializes in water conservancy and electric power, offering comprehensive programs in engineering, science, agriculture, and management. NCWU serves over 30,000 students across multiple campuses and is known for key, provincial-level research in hydrology and engineering.
